Private Voice Lessons for the Pros – In Orlando & Online

Making a Bold Move

I heard a quote a couple of years back that’s always stuck with me. It was something along the lines of, “You can’t reach for exceptional if you’re still holding onto mediocrity.”

That being said, I think that all of us have or will come upon a time in our lives where we have the opportunity to chase more aggressively after a dream, or decide that we’re comfortable where we are and the dream that was once so important to us isn’t worth it.

Well, I’ve come upon yet another one of those crossroads in my life.

I presently have a wonderful group of students I’m working with, and I’m absolutely nothing short of blessed to be who I am and where I am. But, there’s something that I’ve been looking to do for quite some time, and while things are going extremely well now, I know deep down that now’s the time for a change. So, I’m proud to announce that I am going to be making a bold move and following my dream.

Come January 1, 2013, I will be relocating to Orlando, FL. There, I will continue teaching, and I’ll also be exploring more deeply the world of audio engineering and music production. I’m not doing this to switch my focus, but rather to narrow it. This is the next step in my plan to become the go-to coach in the industry that helps singers prepare for the studio.

So come the first of the year, I’ll be offering my professional vocal lessons in Orlando to all the singers interested discovering their full potential.

In the meantime, I want to thank each and every person that’s helped me along the way, including my students, parents of students, my mentors, and anyone that’s every left a lasting impression on my life through music.

I’ll keep you posted on how the move goes.

Memphis… thanks for the wonderful memories. Part of me will always call you home!

Best,
Vocal Coach Ken Taylor

ps – I’ve actually created a different website to promote my lessons in Orlando – http://www.SingingLessonsOrlando.com. I’m sure I’ll continue to revamp it as time progresses, but feel free to check it out and let me know what you think!
